TikTok Shop Affiliate Calculator — how many creators do you need to hit your GMV goal?
TikTok now caps targeted creator invites: you get a weekly invite quota based on your last-30-day GMV (it refreshes every Sunday), plus a hard limit of 200 new invites per day. You can't just message more creators anymore — so run the numbers first and find out whether your quota can actually reach your goal before BFCM.
Your numbers
Enter your shop's numbers — we'll turn them into your exact creator outreach plan below. The plan updates live as you type or drag.

What a typical order from your shop is worth.
Higher commission is the fastest lever for a better accept rate.
Find yours in Seller Center → Affiliate → collaborations. TikTok does not publish a quota table — it is set per account from your past-30-day GMV, so your own number is the only accurate one.
New sellers with no GMV history get a one-time pack of 1,000 outreach opportunities. Turning this on adds 1,000 invites to your pool.
Share of invited creators who accept. New shops often see ~2–5%; established shops with a proven product and strong commission reach 10–20%.
Accepting a sample and posting a video are two different things — plan for drop-off.
Most creators drive a handful of orders; a few drive hundreds. Be honest, not hopeful.
Product + shipping for each free sample you send out.

The funnel, step by step
No black box — here is exactly how your goal turns into an invite plan. The math runs on exact numbers; each headcount is rounded up at the end, because you can't invite a fraction of a creator.

How TikTok's invite quota actually works
The rules that make this math matter — because once your weekly quota is spent, no tool, agency, or workaround gives you more targeted invites until Sunday.
01One weekly quota, set by your GMV
Your targeted-invite quota is calculated from your shop's GMV over the past 30 days and refreshes every Sunday. Bigger recent sales = a bigger quota next week. TikTok does not publish the tier table — your number lives in Seller Center.
02Invites and messages share it
Targeted collaboration invites and instant messages to new, unconnected creators draw from the same single quota. Every cold DM you send is one less invite you can send.
03200 new invites per day, max
On top of the weekly quota, targeted invites are capped at 200 new recipients per day. Even a huge weekly quota can't be spent in a single burst.
04Connected creators don't count
Creators already connected to your shop don't consume targeted-invite quota. Re-activating creators who already know your product is quota-free outreach.
05Open Collaboration is separate
Listing products in Open Collaboration — where any eligible creator can pick them up — does not consume your targeted-invite quota. It's the pressure valve when the quota runs out.
06Tools and APIs use the same quota
Invites sent through the API or third-party outreach tools count against the exact same weekly quota. Software changes how fast you spend it, never how much you have.

Questions sellers ask about the quota
Where do I find my actual weekly invite quota?
In Seller Center → Affiliate → collaborations. TikTok sets it per account from your past-30-day GMV and refreshes it every Sunday, and it does not publish a quota table by GMV tier — so any site showing you a fixed table is guessing. Your Seller Center number is the only one worth planning around.
Why is my creator accept rate so low?
Usually one of three things: targeting (inviting creators who don't post in your niche), commission (below what similar products offer, so your invite loses to a better-paying one), or proof (a new shop with no sales history or reviews looks risky to a creator choosing where to spend their time). New shops commonly see 2–5%; fixing targeting and commission is what moves it toward 10–20%.
What happens when I run out of quota mid-campaign?
Targeted invites and messages to new creators stop until the Sunday refresh. What still works: Open Collaboration (doesn't consume targeted quota), following up with creators already connected to your shop (also quota-free), and preparing next week's invite list so Sunday's quota is spent on your best-fit creators first instead of whoever you find on Monday morning.
Can an agency or a tool get me more invites?
No — invites sent via the API or any third-party tool consume the same weekly quota, and the 200-per-day cap still applies. What help actually buys you is a higher accept rate: better creator selection, better outreach copy, and disciplined follow-up, so each scarce invite is more likely to turn into a posting creator.
Does this calculator guarantee I'll hit my GMV goal?
No. These are planning estimates built from the rates you enter. Your real results depend on your product, your commission, how well you target creators, and whether the creators who accept actually post well. Use the output to sanity-check whether your goal fits your quota — not as a promise of sales.
Want us to run your creator outreach for you?
The math above is the easy part. The work is spending a limited quota well — every week, before Sunday's refresh resets it. That's what we do for TikTok Shop sellers:
- We research and pick creators who fit your product — inside your quota, not spray-and-pray
- We write the outreach and the follow-ups, so invites sound like a brand, not a template
- We manage samples, chase the creators who accepted but haven't posted, and report back weekly
